What is the "About you" tab in a tour?
You may be wondering what the purpose of the About you tab in a tour is, and what is the difference between it and the Personal page on your profile.
The About you tab has two essential uses:
- When you create a tour in a language different from the one in your profile, you can attach a translation of your biography. You can then introduce yourself to foreign users who are likely to download your tour.
- It allows you to adjust your usual biography so that it emphasizes the aspect of your profile which seems relevant to highlight in a tour.
Do not underestimate your biography. Visitors will download a tour if the author seems qualified enough to talk about the site they plan to visit – and if the author presents themselves in a language that visitors can understand.
